Newark Tech High School is a regional public high school located in Newark, that offers occupational and academic instruction for students in Essex County, New Jersey, United States, as part of the Essex County Vocational Technical Schools.
As of the 2005-06 school year, the school had an enrollment of 702 students and 57.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student-teacher ratio of 12.3. The high school had 211 students in 9th grade, 175 students in 10th grade, 165 students in 11th grade and 148 students in 12th grade[1]

Newark Tech competes in the Mountain Valley Conference, which consists of public and parochial high schools covering Union County and Essex County in northern New Jersey. The conference operates under the jurisdiction of the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA).
