Newark Junior High School is the only junior high school in Newark, California. It was once Newark High, but was consolidated when the city made changes to the district layout. The school's layout and design still reflect its original purpose, with large fields and a stadium that were used at one time for high school athletics which now dwarf the school's athletic programs. It is located on Lafayette Avenue, with its stadium overlooking Newark Boulevard.
Newark Junior High School is home to the Ernie F. Silva Memorial Baseball Fields, home of Newark American Little League.
