New York State Route 85A is a state highway in New York. The highway runs from the hamlet of New Salem to the hamlet of New Scotland as a suffixed loop of NY 85. A two-lane highway its entire length, it is entirely located within Albany County.

Communities

NY 85A begins in the hamlet of New Salem from NY 85, heading northward from the site of the Punkintown Fair. After a half mile, it makes a sharp turn to the right, now heading eastward toward the village of Voorheesville, where it meets the termini of NY 156 and NY 155, the latter of which is at a roundabout. Now under the name Maple Road, NY 85A turns southward to return to NY 85.
