New York State Route 43 is a state route in New York state running from Exit 8 of the free portion of Interstate 90 to Massachusetts, where it continues into Williamstown as Massachusetts State Route 43.
Until the mid-1990s, NY 43's alignment was on a concurrency with U.S. Route 4, turning onto Third Ave. Extension (the current NY 151), ending at the US 9/US 20 concurrency in Rensselaer, New York. Also, the whole of NY 443 was signed as NY 43 until about 1980.
