The New York Relay Service is the New York branch of the Telecommunications Relay Service. It can be reached by dialing 7-1-1 from any phone. The services connects phone calls between the hearing and the deaf or hearing impaired, with an operator on the line reading typed messages. It is available twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.
