New York Air National Guard

The New York Air National Guard is the component of the United States Air National Guard operating within the state of New York. It is one of the two components of the New York National Guard.
NYANG operates Air Support units and is part of the Northeast Air Defense Sector.

The 105th Airlift Wing (105 AW) is located at Stewart Air National Guard Base on the Stewart International Airport in Newburgh.

The 106th Rescue Wing (106 RQW) is located at Francis S. Gabreski Airport in Westhampton Beach, Suffolk County.

The 107th Airlift Wing (107 ARW) is an Airlift unit located at Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station on the Niagara Falls International Airport in Niagara Falls.

The 109th Airlift Wing (109 AW) is located at Stratton Air National Guard Base on the Schenectady County Airport in Scotia.

The 152nd Air Operations Group (152 AOG) is located at ANGB Hancock Field on the Hancock International Airport in Syracuse.

The 174th Reconnaissance Wing (174 RW) is located at Hancock Field on the Hancock International Airport in Syracuse.

The Northeast Air Defense Sector (NEADS) is located at Griffiss Business and Technology Park on the former Griffiss Air Force Base in Rome, New York.

- C-5B Galaxy transports
- F-16C Fighting Falcon fighters
- US Air Force's only "Skibirds": Lockheed C-130 Hercules transports with skis
- Lockheed HC-130P Hercules transport and tanker
- Sikorsky HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopters
- Boeing KC-135R Stratotanker tankers
