New Ten Commandments (Yepii Decalogue)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Yepii Decalogue: We can’t tell people how to run their own lives, but we must prevent them from interfering in the lives of others. The purpose of sensitivity training has always been to teach that you should love and respect all good people. This is a fine method for some; but there will always be people who just won’t listen to that kind of talk. For those people we must have a back-up plan. Our back-up plan is based on a simple premise: Get inside their way of thinking and USE THEIR OWN ARGUMENTS AGAINST THEM. The following is one possible suggestion.

1. You should consider what is chosen and what is given. (especially in the young) 2. Don't expect the excluded to disappear. 3. Expect fair treatment to bring loyalty. 4. Mistakes matter, but the big picture is the main thing. 5. Some people need your respect and some don’t. 6. Maturity means knowing the difference between a joke and an insult. 7. Know the difference between equal opportunity and equal outcome. 8. In matters of government; one size does not fit all. 9. First consider the needs of society before having children. 10. An exciting culture will lead to a burnt out culture.
