New Pond Farm is a teaching farm located in Redding, Connecticut. In 2007 they won the prestigious Connecticut Dairy Farm of Distinction Award.[1]

New Pond Farm was founded by Carmen Matthews in 1984. Matthews wanted to give back to the community, and teach people about nature and farm life. Today, the farm has many festivals, volunteering opportunities, and classes.

Every summer, the farm has a summer camp and puts on an elaborate Shakespeare production. In the fall, they have severall harves-time festivals with food, crafts, and learning. In the winter, they host stargazing.
