New Joc City is the debut album by American rapper Yung Joc. It features the hit songs "It's Goin' Down" and "I Know You See It", which "It's Goin' Down" was produced by Nitti and reached number one on the U.S. Yung Joc produced "I Know You See It" himself. Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart in 2006. The album debuted at #3 on the The Top 200 albums chart selling nearly 150,000 copies in the first week. The second week it fell to #7 with about 80,000 copies sold. it has since been certified platinum. The album has sold over 1 million copies in the U.S.. The album's title is a reference of the 1991 film New Jack City.

Yung Joc's debut was released to negative reviews. XXL claims that despite the corniness, Yung Joc has potential.[1]. HipHopDX states that Yung Joc's efforts are barely worth listening to due to the fact of boring, unsophisticated rhymes and contradictory statements.

Dope Boy Magic is the promotional single of this album. A portion of its video was connected to the "I Know You See It" video. The title of the song refers to Yung Joc being able to do things, and when asked how, he says "Dope Boy Magic." Then all of the video was made.
