[edit] Route description

Route 175 begins at NJ 29 in Trenton. It proceeds north, following parallel to the Delaware River. Known as River Drive and concurrent with Route 29, it intersects Aberfeldly Drive, before interseting La Barre Avenue. It soon intersects a pair of train tracks, and at 0.17 miles, it crosses a small stream. Soon, it intersects Matthew Drive and then Country Lane before intersecting Wilbertha Drive. From here, it turns northwest on West Upper Ferry Road. It then crosses another small stream before intersecting State Police Drive and Trooper Drive. It then reaches an onramp for Interstate 95, shortly before intersecting it. Route 175 comes to an end at NJ 29 in Ewing.[1]

[edit] History

Route 175 in Ewing Township was taken over by the state from the county in 1945 as part of Route 29. A new alignment of Route 29 was built closer to the Delaware River in the early 1960s, and in 1963 the old alignment was designated as Route 175.[2]
