As quoted from New England College's website:
"The New England College Press was founded in 2006. The College has named Robert Emmett Ginna, Jr., author, editor, producer, and educator, as the Founding Editor. The goal of the press is to make an important contribution to the arts and sciences and, from time to time, address pressing needs of society while furthering recognition of New England College and its resources."
The press's first book Irish Travellers: Tinkers No More by Alen MacWeeney was published in 2007.
