[edit] Summary

Data was obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau Census 2000 Summary File 1, total population by census tract. The population density of each tract was computed from the tract's land area obtained from the geographic header record. The tract outlines were obtained from the U.S Census Bureau TIGER/Line 2004 second edition file and plotted in the New Jersey State Plane projection.
