Neumagen-Dhron is a municipality in the district Bernkastel-Wittlich, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated on the river Moselle, approx. 15 km south of Wittlich and 20 km north-west of Trier.
Neumagen-Dhron has a centre that is very significant for the wealth of its wine merchants of former centuries. In Neumagen-Dhron (Latin Noviomagus) there was found a sculpture of an antique Roman ship transporting wine. Early fall 2007, a replica of this ship made its maiden voyage and is now stationed in a special harbour area in Neumagen-Dhron. It can be chartered by groups; for pictures and information see <www.neumagen-dhron.de>. Neumagen-Dhron is the seat of the Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") Neumagen-Dhron.
