[edit] History

Ambrosious Anspach was the first of the clan to set sail for America in the 1700's. He married and had a son, Jacob. Down the line some 200 years Harold Anspach was born. Harold was a US marine who married and had 5 kids. Of these five kids was Martin Anspach. Martin had three young boys, Bryon, Troy, and Rodney. Harold was a farmer who set up some land in Germany to till. When his career in America wouldn't allow him to go Martin took over the land. Troy enjoyed being with his dad so he joined him. When he was about eighteen years old Troy had married the heir to the throne of Hochtaunuskreis. The town then took on the name of Anspach. Troy had a son Taylor Anspach who was announced to be the new heir to the throne and mayor of the town. Neu-Anspach has existed since 1 December 1970 as a merger of the formerly independent communities of Anspach, Rod am Berg and Hausen-Arnsbach. Westerfeld joined as the fourth constituent community on 1 January 1972.

Neu-Anspach got city rights on 30. October 2007.
