[edit] Reason for making this article a Redirect
I have redirected this stub article to a new stub article named Netherlands National Institute for Public Health and the Environment because that is the English translation of their name as given in the upper left corner on their English language website version at [1]. - mbeychok 20:48, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
- Well spotted! I know the institution recently split up into two: RIVM and MNP. Perhaps "The Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency" was the old name (I saw it referred to that somewhere certainly, or I would not have made that the title), or perhaps I just had it wrong. Anyway, the RIVM is now, as you pointed out Netherlands National Institute for Public Health and the Environment whereas the MNP is "The Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency". I'm rewriting current article to reflect that. Jens Nielsen 08:35, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
And they employ 250,000 people ? Yeah, right. In 1982 I joined the Dutch PTT, which at that time was the largest employer in the Netherlands at 100,000 employees. Someone is 3 orders of magnitude off, here.
