While I do not dispute the future status of the islands, it is quite a leap to assert that the Kingdom Islands will not have a team. Has the NAVU made any declaration of its intentions? Have FIFA or CONCACAF made any statement on how applications from ex-constituents of the Antilles will be treated? Many French overseas territories are full members of FIFA and the relevant Confederation: it is presumptive to assume that te same status will not be offered in this case.
