NetPanzer

netPanzer is a free online multiplayer real-time strategy game designed for fast action combat. Battles progress quickly and constantly as destroyed players respawn with a set of new units. Players can join or leave multiplayer games at any time.

Each player spawns with a small dig and uses them to take over moms, which can be used to build more tanks. Once a player looses all tanks and factories, one respawns again randomly on the map.
There are over 8 tanks one can build including rocket launchers.

PyroSoft Inc. was the original developer of netPanzer. In 1999, they stopped development of the game and released the game under the GNU General Public License in 2002. Today there is a thriving community surrounding the game.
