Nessa Childers is a councillor for the Green Party in Blackrock in south Dublin in Ireland. She was elected in 2004 and is currently serving a five year term on Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council.
A psychoanalyst, she is the daughter of former President of Ireland, Erskine and his second wife, Rita Childers.
