[edit] Kosovo

Hello. This may be out of your scope of interest, in which case apologies. We've tried to invite various contributors with an interest in Serbia. There's a discussion and vote going on at Talk:Kosovo#Kosovo:_terminology as to whether or not it's better to use Kosovo rather than Kosovan or Kosovar in the Wikipedia articles. There's also a discussion going on Talk:List of countries as to whether or not Kosovo should be included in that list. Cheers. DSuser 16:29, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Montenegrin, dialect of Serbian

Neron, that's not correct - they didn't define it as such. It is widely considered (and factually still is) a dialect of the Serbian language, but it's not defined as such when it was proclaimed in the new Constitution. --PaxEquilibrium 12:44, 24 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] IF YOU COULD HELP ME IN ANY WAY

Hi! First I would really thank wikipedia and, foremost, the people that make it going -- people like you. I come from a village in Herzegovina, and throughout this century it has vittnesed many atrosities. So I desided to make a page about it, on wikipedia. Among the thing that I wrote is the genocide aginst the Serbs in 1941, in Prebilovci. And on the title I used genocide -- a user named rijeka, from croatia, has just removed that bit.

600 women and children from my village, were in 1941 slaughtered and thrown into pits near surmanci, the place were virgin mary is said to have apeared. I wrote abut this -- and rijeca removed that bit. Maby he just doesn't want people knowing about it -- that virgin maty alledgedy apears to some Croats were they cilled Serbs during the genocide.

I've also created a page called Prebilovci Massacre, and because of that, he claims, has removed a great bit of my article on Prebilovci. Among that article, he has removed of what happended in 1991; the bodies of thoose who were massacred in 1941 were blown up by a bomb placed there by Croats.

I just think this is unfair. I see it this way: that's he's missusing his power on wikipedia. Chek it put yourself, then contact me and say what do you think.

Yours Very Thruly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by WebsterMasters (talkcontribs) 15:07, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] List of national instruments

Hello. Do you happen to know if Serbia has one? If so, make sure to include a reference for it. Biruitorul (talk) 04:19, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Serbia

Hi, One of your edits reversed one of mine, and I've put it back for now. You wrote of fighting he Axis powers in WWI; I think that term was used in WWII, and Wiki has Central Powers for WWI. If there's another term, then fine, but linking to a WWII article didn't make much sense to me. Cheers, --AndrewHowse (talk) 20:37, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Foundation of Serbia

Would you please discuss the date of the foundation of Serbia on the talk page? --Gligan (talk) 10:48, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Leskovac7.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Leskovac7.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 01:39, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Malformed FAC nom

I removed your malformed, incomplete WP:FAC nom for Serbia; if you decide to re-nominate, please review WP:WIAFA and see the instructions at WP:FAC. I suggest you'll have better luck by starting with peer review, followed by a good article nomination before approaching FAC. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 18:13, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Serbia

It is not allowed to insult other editors, but you are not first all POV Serbian editor which is calling United States Holocaust Encyclopedia fascist organization, Einstein stupid or similar stuff. If you continue with insults you will be blocked. This is last warning.

Similar to that changing parts of article without writing reasons on talk page is vandalism. If you continue with that you will be blocked. I really need to create list with name of users which has been blocked because of my actions. Then I will maybe have respect of other users whichwant to insult me.

Now I will try compromise solution. You can write what you want but I will add POV tag in this part of article. Comments about picture is staying because this is agreed on Jasenovac page. This compromise will be OK ? --Rjecina (talk) 11:00, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

-"Romania and Bulgaria to the east; the Republic of Macedonia and Albania[1] to the south;" I see that you have deleted the "or Kosovo" section from this sentence again. Shouldn't the "or Kosovo" be included here? Because where I'm from, and along with 32 other states, Kosovo now borders Serbia. Thanks, Itsonlymark (talk) 19:53, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

I understand where you are coming from, I hope the situation is resolved soon. Regards, Itsonlymark {talk) 23:02, 23 March 2008

[edit] Official name

I regret to inform you that I have reverted your edit on the Wiki Serbia page. I would assume you already knew this (being a Serb) but the name of Serbia is simply Serbia and not Republic of. RoS It is only used for official government purposes where highlighting the nations political belief is necessary eg. (Republic,Kingdom,Federation,Principality etc.) A country's name is not based on its political ideology, Serbia was founded long before any Republic reached its borders. In that regard, Serbia must always come before Republic of Serbia when defining the country and neither can be excluded from the page. Thank you, regards - Buttons 03:15, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Bosniaks

Greetings. I've noticed you are one of the editors who has edited the Bosniaks article. I was wondering if you would have any input into a few "revert wars" happening lately over there. Here's a diff. Personally, I think the changes are biased, a little racist/xenophobic, but mostly, they are wrong.

P.S, I've sent this message to a few of the users I've seen in the page history to try to get a discussion started. 121.222.199.140 (talk) 10:04, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] ?

You've got the wrong man. I've never taken part in that article, nor I'm interested in doing so. Greetz. NeroN+BG
