Odd that the same Burke's Peerage quote does duty for two deaths, one in 1986, one in 1961. Wetman 19:52, 9 Aug 2004 (UTC)

It is not unusual for Burke's Peerage to contain errors, but why drag the royal family into the story, other than for the sake of inventing a scandal? Nerissa Bowes-Lyon was not a member of the royal family, she was a member of the Bowes-Lyon family, and Burke's would have requested information from the head of that family.
