Well, that explains why so many spider monsters in anime and tokusatsu are so colorful with yellow and red. Neat!

Hi, I don't know anything about spiders---in fact I'm petrified of them, but I think the one in the latest image is a different variety than the one profiled on this page. Isn't this one considered a "banana spider"? Those are pretty common around here in South Korea. The photo I uploaded a few days ago was notable, for me, in that it didn't look anything like a banana spider, so that's why I noticed the differences between this and that. Just raising the issue, that's all SolitaryThrush 06:48, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
