[edit] Help with this (Gamma Beta)

Hi Neoeinstein, I've been trying to create an article for Gamma Beta Fraternity, but everytime I do it gets placed on deletion. Would you mind helping me out on this situation? hawee talk —Preceding comment was added at 18:59, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Computer Science Request Page

Computer Science terms were moved to the Applied Sciences request page, since they are in fact not a natural science. Dragons flight 20:12, Mar 18, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] FIJI vandals

Precident on wikipedia, if anything, is that we do not care what a group considers sacred or holy. We report on it nonetheless. I don't care for the letters themselves being there, I just want the uniformity. Someone thought it was a good idea to put the greek letters of all the fraternities beside the English. Just the fact that one group doesn't like this doesn't mean they are excused.

Evidence for the fact that we don't care about what a group considers sacred content can clearly be seen on the article Bahá'u'lláh. The Bahai Faith considers it a greatly inconsiderate (if not a sin) for anyone outside of a pilgrimage to view this picture. Yet this picture is on the article and will always be there.

Now consider, three greek letters. One can trademark three letters however we are allowed to report on trademarks, (see, say Ford) as long as they are not "diluted". There is obviously no dilution because even if the letters were trademarked they are used in context. On the other hand, three letters cannot be copyrighted. So legally Fiji can't do a thing about what we are doing.

As it stands the anon members of Phi Gamma Delta are vandals because they can't seem to work through wikipedia's channels. They have been banned for vandalizing my user page and making legal threats, this is just their reaccurance. --metta, The Sunborn 03:42, 19 Mar 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia:WikiProject Fraternities and Sororities

I want to revive the WikiProject. I have some ideas of where we should take this. I'd like to start with figuring out a standard on which all fraternity and sorority articles can confrom to. Dspserpico 22:54, 17 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Greek Life Template 2.0

OK, I've added ratings and ranking to the proposed template for Fraternities and Sororities, with the requirements to be found on the appropriate page. We're waiting on a transparent picture; is there anything else to be done to this template? I'd like to give it another week or so before making it an official template. Just leave some comments on the template talk page for the template. —ScouterSig 02:05, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
