Thanks for the note. Within schools there are standards, for instance, but it is the sort of thing that individual schools don't like to "give away", IME. Jian is the highest level of a lot of Chinese martial arts, and teachers at that level are rarely ecumenical about what they teach, although there are some exceptions.
This is the kind of article that may be challenged (then again, maybe not) so I want to stress that you should be prepared for that sort of thing here. If you have any news articles or magazine articles about the group, they would be a big help. You are also likely to hear about WP:COI if you yourself are associated with the group.
