Neo Fauvism

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Neo-Fauves were the last trend within painting that could be marketed as a coherent style.[1] Casol Contemporary Art Gallery lists Neo-Fauvism as a Contemporary Art movement from the 2000s.[2] Maryse Casol is a French contemporary artist and a central figure in the movement known as Neo-Fauvism. Renowned for her vibrant colours, exotic landscapes and blazing still lives, she continues the legacy of artists such as Matisse, Derain or Cezanne in a XXI century style.[3]
