Nelson Mandela Primary School [1] is a primary school located in Sparkbrook, Birmingham, England. It adopted its current name in the early 1990s in honour of Nelson Mandela, the South African human rights campaigner who spent 26 years in prison under the apartheid regime before being released in 1990 and later becoming Prime Minister of the country.
