NEIL BERTRAM BORN IN 1956 LONDON ENGLAND ONLY SON OF JEAN AND HAROLD MOVED TO SOUTH COAST IN 1963 Well back in the dark ages when i was still at school,1970,i was a bedroom player,not very good,crap in fact,but i kept at it,with spells of throwing the guitar at the wall,and getting very fed up.but one day it all started to come into place,and with some help from my couz,who showed me how to play 12bar boogie,it all went on from their. 1975 i met a dude called ALLEN who was a good guitar player,and we jammed for ages like u do,and started to play some of the hits of the day,then along came a sexy young girl singer called MANDY TYLER,who was very forward and a good up front singer.we played and jammed for a while got some exp and then it finnished. 1977 i saw a add in the paper,and went along 4 a audition,it was a blondie band,good sound,good girl singer called TANYA-MILES, she looked like and sounded like blondie,their were two guitarists and a drummer called PETE LIGHT.the band giged for about 18months we had lots of fun,tanya had a crush on me,but i dident on her,and thats about it,it cam to a end as all bands do,but even more exp,, 1978 another add in the paper i went to,and met two guys on called PHILL HAZLETT, we dident do anything with that band but me and phill went on to do loads of other stuff,and r still freinds today,god 28 years,im old, 1978-1982 most of those years were spent with phill and lots of diff bands,we also done some discos,and had a lot of fun, we met lots of girls/boys and contacts,we went to places saw things and had a good time,and thats what being 20 somthing is all about.
