Neil Thompson (born 2 October 1963, in Beverley, England) is an English former footballer who played in defence for Scarborough, Ipswich Town and Barnsley amongst others. Thompson subsequently became a football coach and had spells at York City, Scarborough and Boston United as player-manager. He currently works as Academy Manager of Leeds United.
