Neil Carroll (born September 21, 1988, Liverpool) is a professional footballer with Chester City. He has been handed squad number 24 for the 2007-08 season, as he becomes part of the first-team squad for the first time.
This follows several years at the club as part of the youth set-up for the English midfielder. He made his Football League debut for Chester in a 2-1 win at Macclesfield Town on September 29, 2007, starting the game in midfield. He is one of several youngsters being given first-team opportunities under new manager Bobby Williamson.
Carroll has since joined Leigh RMI on loan, a club managed by former Chester assistant manager Steve Bleasdale.
