Negrar is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Verona in the Italian region Veneto, located about 110 km west of Venice and about 12 km northwest of Verona. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 16,705 and an area of 40.5 km².[1]

The municipality of Negrar contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Arbizzano, Fane, Mazzano, Montecchio, Prun, S. Maria, and Torbe.

Negrar borders the following municipalities: Grezzana, Marano di Valpolicella, San Pietro in Cariano, Sant'Anna d'Alfaedo, and Verona.
