Neal Macrossan

Neal William Macrossan (died 30 December 1955) was appointed as a judge to the Supreme Court of Queensland, which is the highest ranking court in the Australian State of Queensland. He served as a puisne judge from 27 June 1940 until 30 June 1940. He served as a senior puisne judge 1 July 1940 until 22 April 1946. He served as Chief Justice from 23 April 1946 until 30 December 1955.
Macrossan was a graduate of St. Joseph's Nudgee College, which is located in the suburb of Boondall in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. He was also a Rhodes Scholar. (1907, Magdelen B.A., 1910, M.A., 1914)
His older brother Hugh Denis Macrossan, and his nephew John Macrossan, also served as Chief Justice of Queensland.
