Description
English: NDT, Ultrasonic Testing (UT) on blade roots of a V2500 IAE aircraft engine. Step 1: The UT probe is placed on the root of the blades to be inspected with the help of a special aircraft tool (video probe). Step 2: Instrument settings are input. Step 3: The probe is scanned over the blade root. In this case, an indication (peak in the data) through the red line (or gate) indicates a good blade; an indication to the left of that range indicates a crack.
Türkçe: V2500 IAE uçak motorunun pal köklerinin NDT İncelemesi (Ultrasonik). 1. Adım: Özel bir boroskop aracı vasıtasıyla NDT probunu incelemenin yapılacağı pal köküne yerleştir. 2. Adım: NDT Cihazını doğru dalga değerine ayarla. 3.Adım: Probu incelemenin yapılacağı noktaya ayarla ve en yüksek inceleme dalgasının kırmızı çizgi ile belirlenmiş normal değerler içinde kaldığını gözlemle. Eğer kalıyorsa, pal sağlamdır, kırmızı çizginin dışında ve sol tarafında ise pal kökünde çatlak var demektir.
