I'm trying to find the NBC Sports logo circa 1986-1989. It was an all dark red version of the six feathered peacock (with the exception of the white body of the bird) logo that was introduced in 1986.TMC1982

Can someone find a better picture, as it is rather difficult to see the logo on the current image?

Minor issue: I think the font on the 1986-89 logo (BTW, thanks for the separate image) is off slightly. It looks more like Tahoma. WAVY 10 19:36, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

As a point of reference the official name of the division is NBC Sports and Olympics, Inc. and Dick Ebersol is the Chairman of the Board of NBCS&O per the NBC Universal corporate website. May I suggest that this article be moved to NBC Sports and Olympics and a redirect be placed on NBC Sports. Simon Bar Sinister 08:35, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

Since it's known on-air as NBC Sports, I think it would be better to leave the article as is, and note the official name in the article; in the same way that Shea Stadium directs you to William A. Shea Municpal Stadium.Khan_singh 01:45, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
