Talk:Naval Air Station Pensacola

[edit] Location
Is the 'town of Warrington' a part of Pensacola, or an adjacent entity? The maps aren't clear. If the latter, the description should be changed to "in the town of Warrington, just southwest of Pensacola,..." or something. —wwoods 23:19, 17 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- It's a census-designated place. If you sent mail to "Warrington," you would address it to Pensacola. People either call the area "Warrington" or "West Pensacola," but it is quite clear that the base is NOT in Pensacola proper. I will fix the language. Mike H 21:39, Mar 23, 2005 (UTC)
- Naval Air Station Pensacola, "The Cradle of Naval Aviation", is a United States Navy base located in Warrington, Florida, a community southwest of the Pensacola city limits. There is how I've reworded it. Mike H 21:40, Mar 23, 2005 (UTC)
