An amphibious assault vehicle (AAV) from the USS Nassau advances onto Green Beach during a mock invasion in Stephenville, Newfoundland. The maritime combined operational training exercise Unified Spirit "98 includes forces from Canada, Denmark, the United Kingdom, France, the United States , and other NATO nations.
