Hi!
My name is Natasha Abbott (well, my pen name is) and I'm a young Australian teenager who writes. You won't have heard of me before; I'm not famous yet, but when you see a book on the shelves with my name on it you'll know who I am! :P
No, seriously guys, I should probably say some stuff avout myself as a person. I like cats, chocloate, writing (obviously) and I'm a sucker for correct spelling and grammar. If someone says something like, "When I done it the teacher was real impressed", I'll instantly butt in with, "You mean, 'when you did it the teacher was really impressed". So don't cross me if you can't speak!
Also, I'm currently working on a piece which hasn't got a name yet. I need some ideas, so please read the following blurb on my story and let me know via the "talk" page what you think a suitable title would be.
Here's the blurb.
Audrey Lawson is adopted and is very emotional. She is Water.
Mark Packer is a popular football player whose father is on television. He is Earth.
James Pearce is a Junior Surf Life Saver who would do anything for Audrey. He is Fire.
Skye Walters is a dancer who lives with her granmother. She is Air.
Charlie Melwood is a rebellious muso who has been expelled from three schools. She is Music.
Together, they are the Elements, all born on February 29th and of the same Generation. They are sent to fight in the Člencit War, and the five are all very new to their roles and can't be sure where their Skills will lead them to. Will they win the War and restore harmony between the Elements?
The story is set in the present day in Western Australia. A few other things you should know is that Audrey and Mark start going out, but Mark dumps her due to the difference in their popularity stastus. James, Audrey's best friend, has been in love with Audrey from the beginning of their friendship, and she eventually falls for him. There is a legend that there will only be one Generation in which the Fire and the Water will be made for one another, and in a completely dramatic and surprising coincidence, this is the Generation in which this will happen. Wow! :)
Anyway, I should sign off. We high school peeps have homework to do!
