    [edit] Comment

I apologise for the general crapness of this article so far. I plan to do more research into the history of the movement. All help gratefully received. Perodicticus 11:44, 11 November 2005 (UTC)

    [edit] inaccurate statement

    The following was inaccurate:

"Although the natural food diet has only ever been practiced by a minority..."

If one goes back far enough in history, a majority of people would have eaten natural food. For example, I'm sure all cavemen eat natural foods. What I think was meant by the statement is that in modern times the natural food diet has been practiced only by a minority. It has been corrected --Cab88 17:56, 17 May 2006 (UTC)

Actually, I meant a natural-food diet that was consciously identified as such, and held to be separate from the mainstream way of eating. Of course, such a distinction only became necessary in modern times. Perodicticus 10:40, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
Atoms are natural. Thus all foods made of atoms are natural--Shniken1 (talk) 04:01, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

    [edit] Merger proposal

This article and Natural Foods Diet share the same subject and therefore should be merged. Though this page is entitled Natural food movement, it says very little about that movement, except that it was popular in the 1970s. I believe the best home for these articles is Natural foods, with a section for the natural food movement. Gobonobo T C 04:00, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

Sounds good to me! Perodicticus 08:02, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] not "comida naturista" i think

Spanish "Comida naturista" excludes meat. Natural foods doesn't. I think they are different concepts. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.57.241.62 (talk) 02:44, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
