[edit] Birth date&mother
Do not put a birth date again without providing a source. Editing the greek article and then providing that as a source is against all policies. The correction was made after an e-mail to info-el@wikimedia.org from the official website indicating some problems, they provided the correct birth date, but as it is also unsourced it is better to stay without it. Second problem was the name of her mother: the article wrote about Iordanidou citing the official website, while the website itself states clearly that her mother was Freddy's fist wife Erietta Mavroudi. - The we put back the bday on the greek article because it was taken out conveniently at the same time that you took it out of the english page. The birthdate had to have come from somewhere, someone didn't just make it up. We are currently searching for a reliable link. Also, when reverting edits, make sure you are reverting what you say you are and not interwiki links, and spellings that are not part of the problem. Thanks, Greekboy and Grk1011 (talk) 17:40, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
- Wait, if the official website sent the correct birthdate, how is that unsourced? A note could be added after it in edit mode. Grk1011 (talk) 17:41, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
- Yes. If the official site sent the birth date, then what is it? I reverted the Greek wiki article, because someone took out the birth date today, with out an explanation or anything, at the same time you took out the birth date in the English wikipedia article. Check the Greek wikipedia history if you want. It just looked like someone decided to take out the birth date randomly since there was no explanation for it. Also no one was challenging her mother. It was just accidentally reverted since you made the birth date edit along with her mother. Greekboy (talk) 18:02, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

- The official website noted the correct birthdate by e-mail, so it is not a published source. In a small search I didn't find any published reliable source that can be cited even for a different date. The birth date from the greek article was taken out by the webmaster of that site. There is no need for an explanation to remove unsourced claims from an article, the need for explanation (citation) is for the one who adds it. Don't use revert to anything but vandalism. --Geraki TL 15:18, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

- Aren't you aware of Verifiability? You cannot cite an e-mail. If the birth date was published by a reliable source you would be able to write it, but currently there is no such information publicly available. Geraki TL 22:27, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

- I was saying that since the official site sent the email, can we email them back and request that they add the birthdate to Natalia's official site so it would then be sourceable. Grk1011 (talk) 02:43, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
