Natural 7 Wonders

Natural Seven Wonders of the World is a contemporary attempt to create a list of seven natural wonders chosen by people through a world wide poll. It is being organized by a Swiss-based, non-profit, New Open World Corporation (NOWC), after its success in organizing the New Seven Wonders of the World.
The project is still in its initial stage, and is open to nominations till 8th August 2008, after which a panel of experts will create a list of 21 candidates from which voters worldwide will elect the 7 wonders of nature.[1]
The 77 official nominees - of more than 200 - will be considered by the New7Wonders of Nature panel of experts. The first round of online voting ends on December 31, 2008, after which the panel will decide the final 21, from which the last round of online voting will determine the final 7.[1]
