Nationaltheatret Station (Norwegian: Nationaltheatret stasjon) is an underground railway station on Drammenbanen in Oslo, Norway; located by Nationaltheatret, the largest theatre in Norway. The station is connected to a subway station on the Oslo T-bane lying beneath the subway station, with the same name. It is the second busiest on the national railway network.
All trains trains operating west of Oslo Central Station stop at the station, including express, regional, local and airport express trains; up to 24 trains operate through the station an hour in each direction.
The railway station is located in Oslotunnelen between Skøyen and Oslo Central Station, and was completed in 1980. It is the only underground station on the main Norwegian network. There was originally only a single platform with a track at either side, but in 1999 a second platform was built. Formerly, the long-distance express trains passed through Nationaltheateret without stopping, but in June 2006 most of these trains, with the exception of night trains, are also scheduled to make a short stop at the station. Nationaltheatret is the second largest railway station in Norway in terms of passenger volume, second only to Oslo Central Station. The walking distance for making a connection between local train and subway is shorter at Nationaltheateret than at Oslo S
