National Optical Astronomy Observatory

The United States National Optical Astronomy Observatory (NOAO) consists of three observatories under one management structure:
It is run by the Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy (AURA), with a cooperative agreement with the National Science Foundation (NSF). NOAO has its headquarters in Tucson, AZ.
NOAO also manages US participation in the international Gemini Observatory
