National Forest is the vehicle for musician Daniel Cowley. He primarily creates fairly laid-back electronica, created at home using a PC, record player, keyboards, guitar and a microphone and mixed in Manchester. Musical influences include Grandaddy, My Bloody Valentine and Max Tundra. His first eponymous album was released in 2003, with a follow-up, One Million, released in 2006.
