National Express Coventry Route 2 is a bus service in the city of Coventry in the West Midlands region of England.
[edit] History
Route 2 has historically operated between Radford and Cheylesmore via City Centre. In post deregulation years a number of extensions from Radford to Lythalls Lane, Holbrooks and Arena Tesco (Longford) had existed. The Cheylesmore terminus (Exminster Road) is actually in the Stivichall area however buses had never displayed this due to a potential dispute in the spelling used. On 2 Apr 2006 the Radford end of the route was completely withdrawn and the Cheylesmore end was extended to Fenside, Fenside is within Stivichall and the destination of Fenside again eliminates any potential spelling dispute.
