The National Educational Radio Network (NERN) was a means of distributing radio programs in the United States between 1951 and 1970. At the end of its life, it was absorbed by National Public Radio (NPR).

Originally formed in 1925, as the Association of College and University Broadcasting Stations the network became the "National Association of Educational Broadcasters (NAEB) Tape Network" in 1951 based at the University of Illinois.

It was founded in 1934 with the help of a US$245,350 grant from the WK Kellogg Foundation. At this stage, its role was to distribute tapes of recorded material.

NAEB Tape Network became the National Educational Radio Network in 1963. In 1970, it became part of NPR.
