National Children's Orchestra
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The National Children's Orchestra of Great Britain (NCO-GB) is a children's orchestra, established in 1978 by Vivienne Price.
The NCO-GB has five age-banded orchestras, for children between the ages of 7 and 13 years. It draws together each year almost 500 talented musicians, divided into the five age banded orchestras, from all over the UK. The NCO gives talented children the chance to play in a full symphony orchestra in concert halls across the country. The current director of music is Roger Clarkson.
