Nat Silcock

Nathan Douglas Silcock (born Widnes, England), 27 November 1927, died Penketh 27 July 1992, A Great Britain rugby league football.
Described as a tough rugged forward, Silcock stood around 6ft 1’. He played well over 100 matches for the St Helens club and almost as many for the Warrington Wolves before the English forward moved to Australia. In 1954 Silcocks captain-coached the Sydney club, Eastern Suburbs.
Nat D Silcock born Widnes 1927, son of the Widnes legend of the same name. Signed for Wigan in 1946 and played there for 9 years before being transferred to St Helens in 1955 where he stayed till 1958 when he was transferred to Warrington. Played on a number of cup winning sides for Wigan and St Helens and was also on the 1954 G.B touring side. In 1960 he moved into a player coaching position for Newcastle Souths taking them to there divisional final after two seasons there he then moved to Sydney to coach Eastern Suburbs for only one season.
