[edit] Spam in Quality Price Sports Memoribilia

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Quality Price Sports Memoribilia, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Quality Price Sports Memoribilia is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Quality Price Sports Memoribilia, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. [edit] Welcome

Welcome to Wikipedia. To find out more about how to make useful contributions, take a look at the welcome page. To stay in Wikipedia, an article has to be about something notable, that is, of general interest. Click on Notability for an explanation of what that means. Also, it must give independently verifiable sources. Articles that don't meet these requirements are deleted. Follow the links below to learn more:

  1. To find out more about creating articles, read the introduction, tutorial, and the guide to creating your first article.
  2. Do not write articles about yourself, your company, your band, or your best friend - that's a conflict of interest.
  3. Wikipedia is not an advertising service.
  4. For experiments, please use the sandbox.

[edit] Don't remove speedy-deletion tags

You are entitled to challenge the speedy deletion; if you want to do that, put {{hangon}} on the page immediately under the {{db}} tag, and put your reasons on the article's talk page. The administrators will read what you say before they decide. But you should not remove the speedy deletion tag. JohnCD (talk) 21:33, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
