Prof. Dr. Nasrollah Pourjavady (1942 Tehran - July 18) is a prominent professor in philosophy and mysticism.
He was born in Tehran and received his early education there. He went to the United States and study western philosophy and having obtained his BA in 1967 returned to Iran and earned his MA and PHD degrees from the University of Tehran.
Subsequently, he taught mysticism and philosophy at Sharif University of Technology in Tehran. and then at the university of Tehran, where he still teaches as a full professor.
