Nashil Pichen

Nashil Pichen (born Nashil Pichen Kazembe, 1932-1991) was a Rhodesian musician who became an African music star in the 1950s. He collaborated with Kenyan Peter Tsotsi, and was important in developing the traditional kwela band into a "twist"-like dance style.
