[edit] boats

Narooma hosts the most boats on the far south coast —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.106.144.87 (talk) 13:40, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

  • I find this hard to believe compared to Eden or Ulladulla or even Batemans Bay - you would need to cite a reliable source for this fact to be included --Matilda talk 23:44, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Australia Rock

The article currently claims that the shape was formed by chains which tied up ships. This seems improbable and I can find no source for this claim. http://www.walkabout.com.au/locations/NSWNarooma.shtml states Australia Rock (which features a naturally-occurring hole with an uncanny resemblance to the map of Australia) - naturally occurring and coincidental shape seems more likely --Matilda talk 23:44, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Golf course

Several courses claim to be the most spectacular and challenging in Australia - see http://au.travel.yahoo.com/great-outdoors/australia/new-south-wales/narooma/narooma-golf-course-new-south-wales.html which really suggests it is pretty good but Narooma has been rated at 32 in Australia's top 50 public access courses and amongst Australia's top 25 resort golf courses. That doesn't equal "the most" --Matilda talk 23:54, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
