Narcisa de Jesus Martillo Moran (29 October 1832 – 8 December 1869) was born in Nobol, Ecuador. She was orphaned at an early age, and took a job as a seamstress to support her brothers and sisters. Though never having taken vows, she lead a devout life, becoming a consecrated virgin.[1]
Her canonization as a saint is scheduled for 12 October 2008.[2]
